Certified Organic in the United Kingdom
ORGAIA teas are certified by the Organic Food Federation under licence ORG-GB-04, a recognised UK organic certification body. This certification confirms that the handling, storage and sale of ORGAIA teas comply with strict organic regulations within the United Kingdom.
The Organic Food Federation independently verifies that certified businesses maintain proper traceability and integrity throughout the supply chain, ensuring that organic products remain protected and compliant from import to final sale.
Orgaia is certified to import and trade Organic Tea under Organic Serial Number [02335/25].
Recognised Organic Standards
The EU Organic logo confirms that ORGAIA teas meet recognised organic production standards set within European regulations. Although our teas are grown and crafted in Sri Lanka, they are certified under LK-BIO-149 (Non-EU Agriculture), verifying that the tea estates and processing facilities comply with approved organic practices.
For customers, this mark provides assurance that the tea has been independently inspected and certified to organic standards, with full traceability from the tea gardens of Sri Lanka through to the finished product you enjoy in your cup.
Authentic Sri Lankan Tea
The Ceylon Lion logo is issued by the Sri Lanka Tea Board and is reserved exclusively for teas that are grown and packed in Sri Lanka. Its presence confirms the tea’s genuine origin and protects the reputation of Ceylon tea as one of the world’s most respected tea-producing regions.
